Preschool

We are thrilled to welcome the youngest members of our community to our Holy Spirit family. Holy Spirit Preschool is an extension of Parish ministries and was established to meet a growing need for a quality early childhood program for the young children of the Holy Spirit Parish and the surrounding community.  We strive to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of the whole child.

The goal of our preschool is to provide a safe and loving atmosphere where a child can explore and discover through hands-on interaction with his/her environment. Ample opportunities allow children to use and share existing skills, and to learn new skills that will help them establish positive self-esteem. We approach these goals as followers of Jesus, the perfect teacher, with a sense of commitment, service, wonder, and love.

Holy Spirit preschoolers are guided through age-appropriate play and activities from the Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive early childhood educational system that has been shown to promote the cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical development of young children. Through this program, young children learn through creative exploration of their environment as a place of research, learning, re-visitation, and reflection. Through creative play, a powerful tool for young children, the state is set for the development of the whole child in all areas: spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.

Two class sessions are currently offered; each curriculum is designed to meet the developmental and learning needs of that age group.

Pre-Kindergarten
For children who will be enrolled in kindergarten the following school year. Children must be 4 years of age by September 30th to be eligible for this class. 
     Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
     8:15am-11:00am
                     
Pre-School
Designed to meet the needs of older three-year-olds and four-year-olds. The different ages will participate in age appropriate activities. Children must be 3 years of age by the first day of preschool to be eligible for this class.
     Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
     11:45am-2:15pm
     
All children must be fully potty-trained before attending our preschool.

A $100 registration fee is required to reserve your child's placement and is non-refundable.
The registration fee is applied to your child's tuition during the last month of the school year.
Checks can be made payable to Holy Spirit Pre-School.
